National Federal Reserve Challenge

Co-Founder

University of Pittsburgh

Co-founded a team of eight students in a national competition with over eighty universities to create an economic forecast and policy recommendation for a board of Federal Reserve Economists.
Used a Julia-based implementation of a DSGE model from the New York FED and data from the Bloomberg Terminal to forecast monetary policy, as well as used Julia for data visualization in the video presentation.
